At Colour Connection, we are committed to protecting our planet

Take a look at how we are implementing changes
and doing our part for the planet …

In December of 2024 we accomplished our much anticipated eco goal of installing Solar Panels on our building. This contributes to our long term aim to be able to run our business on fully renewable energy.

We're Eco Driven

Eco Driven

Our journey to highten our companies eco credentials began in 2023, when we purchased our electric vehicles. We recognise that the charging port satisfies a variety of our customers and visitors, as well as reducing company costs and improving productivity.

Print and Plant

Alongside the purchase of our electric vehicles last year we introduced our ‘Print & Plant’ incentive. What started as a small gesture towards our customers, to show that we were mindful of our carbon footprint, grew to a much loved and inspiring gift, one that a number of our customers have adopted into their own organisations!

did you know…
1 tree will sequester an estimated
0.30 of carbon
0.30 tonne of CO2 sequestration
= 732.90 miles in a standard car!

More Trees

By doing our bit for the environment, we’re helping to:

Globe

Sequester carbon and
help the planet

Community
Support communities
and familie
Deforestation
Protect animals from
deforestation
rainfall
Increase rainfall, purify
water and improve
crop yield
And we will keep looking for more ways to help the environment
as we work towards our goal of becoming carbon neutral.

2024 most has brought with it, both Colour Connection's largest investment yet, and our significant step in our eco transition. Meet, Susan!

“Our Lean, Green, Inkjet Production Printing Machine” - Kyocera

TASKalfa uses water-based pigment ink and up to 70%
less energy consumption than a comparable laser
device, the paper feeder can handle more than 14,000
sheets at a time and print 150 prints per minute, 9,000
prints per hour! With no need to use heat to fuse toner,
this inkjet printing reduces power consumption, which
reduces both costs, and our environmental impact.

The add-on incentive with using this inkjet technology is
the Reforested project in partnership with PrintReleaf.
Not only do Kyocera reforest all the paper they use as a
business, they offer reforestation of all paper used by
customers with a TASKalfa Pro production printer!

Knowing what we are feeding our machine also matters to us, which is why we
use Soporset and Navigator stocks. Soporset paper comes from responsibly
managed forests, using cutting-edge methods.

Employing forest biomass as its primary source of energy, the manufacturing
process is both ethical and energy efficient. The forest managed by The
Navigator Company is an important carbon sink, thus contributing to the
reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere.

Follow and support us in our Green, journey!
